Here at Covenant Church we are committed to helping families develop kids who know Christ and who love the Lord!
From Sunday School to VBS, from Young Believers to Kid's Own Worship, everything we do is Christ-centered. We want our kids to learn what it means to be a Disciple. We do this by participating in mission projects, reaching out to those in need both in our church and within our community. From sharing God's love with others, we also grow in our own spiritual development.
Below are many of the cool children's ministries at Covenant:
Children's Sunday School uses Group Publishing 'Faith Weaver' curriculum, which
takes them through a 3 year cycle of all the wonderful stories of our faith.
Kids Own Worship at 11am further reinforces these stories, while allowing
children to also experience worship basics.
Covenant Church has a faith-based early childhood development program for 18
months to 5 year olds. Our half day classes run from 2, 3 or 5 days.
Covenant Church runs an After School program for children pre-K through 6th grade. We currently pickup children from Phoenix Academy, Southwest Elementary, Shadybrook, Oak View, and Florence Elementary. Sixth grade students who attend Southwest Middle will ride the school bus to our facility. Summer Camp is offered after the Guilford County School year in June and runs until right before the Guilford County Schools begin again in August. Full time and part time options are available.
Young Believers is a evening program for 3rd-5th grades & they meet from 5:00 PM - 6:30 PM on Sunday evenings. Our Young Believers program has two missions: First to help them develop a relationship with Jesus and understand what it means to become a believer. Second to have fun!
Our goal is to provide short skits that tie-in with the Children's Church sermons once per month
and occasionally do skits in worship and the community as well.
SPORTS CAMP
Sports Camp 2012 will be held Monday-Friday, June 18-22, from 9am-12:15 daily. Our theme this year is "Beyond the Gold!" We look forward to sharing Team 4-5, basketball, soccer, cheerleading, and this year's 'sport of choice' with kids ages 4-12 years. Registration will begin with our 'early bird specials' in January, so watch for more information! Click here for the registration.
'Sky: Everything is possible with God' is the theme for VBS 2012, being held July 16th - 20th. Come join the fun as we celebrate all that God is able to do in us, through us, and for us! Registration will be available online in January, so keep your eyes open for details!

0 Years to Second grade April 1st at 3 pm.
Flashlight Easter Egg Hunt Ages 3rd to 5th Grade March 31 from 6:30 to 8:00 pm.
